Only 4% of plastic is recycled. It takes 500years to decompose a piece of plastic. Plastic is not biodegradable. plastic pollution is clause by people throwing rubbish in the seas or oceans. Some people don't put their rubbish in the bin or it can get blowend into oceans.

life of a butterfly
The mother butterfly lays eggs on the new swamp plants. It turns into a little caterpillar. The little caterpillar feeds on the swamp plants.
The little caterpillar eats every day and gets fat a and fat a. When it's so fat it starts to grow into a chrysalis. It takes 2weeks to grow into a butterfly . When it is ready it starts to come out of the chrysalis. When butterflies comes out it will turn into a big butterfly.
maui and the sun
Maui wanted slow the sun down because the days were going to fast and he could not do work. He made a plan with Roto, Mua, Taha and Pae (his brothers) to catch the sun. Maui went to the village with his four brothers and asked all the women to make rope out of flax.
One day when the sun was sleeping Maui and his brothers walked to the cave where the sun slept. They wrapped the flax ropes around the sun and hid behind the rocks and waited for the sun to rise. When the sun woke up Maui got his hook and hit the sun with it. The sun screamed ‘Ow, ow, it hurts’, Maui said ‘Stop going fast because we can’t do our work.’ The sun said ‘I’m sorry, I will go at a slow pace from now on.’ Maui hit the sun one more time to make sure the sun kept the promise. Now the sun goes at a slower pace and we can all get our work done.

When kids make kite in maroi new year they make fish or dragons or something ase auso kids make kite in winter or summer beachuse in summer kids like to play bye the beach and kids like to make kites in winter because it's a nice and cold morning.

got back home at 8pm then my mum drop me
off to my nana house then I had a rest.
